I had the pleasure of checking in via relay to the Monday night net on October 18. K3YN was NCS (as K3BRZ), and I heard at least 75% of the other stations. It was a bit of a struggle because I was hearing at least 3 other QSO’s on 28.480 during the net. When I was relayed in, Dennis asked for my membership number. I became a BreezeShooter in 1969, before membership numbers were assigned. I have attached a copy of my original certificate, when I was WA3JBQ.\u00a0I was delighted to hear some of the hams I knew before I left Pittsburgh: WB3AGB, WA3PBD, and W3ON. I now live in Glenwood, FL, which is about 25 Miles WSW of Daytona Beach.\u00a0Please extend my greetings to the members, and I will try again when 10M is open between FL and WPA.\u00a0Thanks and 73,\u00a0Reed Krenn WW3A – ex WA3JBQ Glenwood, FL<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just wanted to say hi.  I have not heard the net since 1964, when I moved from PA.   Tonight I was able to copy everyone for about 15 minutes before the band dropped out.  W3LR told me it was a “list net” and did not tell NCS I was there.  I am K3QQN, Jim and lived in Scottdale, PA .  Dennis. K3YN and I have been friends since that time and he told me to listen for the net.  I now live in Virginia Beach, VA.  So, with band openings I may be able to hear the net again.  Thanks and 73 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
